Treasure ~ Codrington Pan Family ~ Bruno Mars (steelpan cover)

This brings me back to listening to Samaroo Jets on radio in Suriname in the early 1980's performing at the Hilton Hotel in T&T ,,Pan is not only to be used for playing soca or tunes for Panorama,, the beauty of the Steelpan comes out when a variety of music is being played as I had mentioned earlier,,salsa,,merengue,,waltz,,,r&b,, blues ,,,soul,,reggae,,rock steady ,,cultural music,,,indian music,, music from Hare Rama i have done it all and can to this moment still do it again ,,,apart from this is that there are a few that plays the pan alone with an original instrumental background,,,its wonderful to listen to ,,,But ,,with a complete set of Steelpans from bass to tenor performing there is nothing to stop that ,,the God given Instrument of T&T ,,as a Panman I do make my comments,to the Codrington Family keep on going on I was there and and have done it all,,with such an attitude then there is no need to wait for the forthcoming Panorama,,a jig is always around the corner once you maintain this style and attitude,,respect to all WST members.
