In 1946 Mastercraft bought the masters from the defunct Guild and reissued many of their Calypso sides. However, for this single they combined two different Guild releases. "Ugly Woman" from Guild 114 and "Fan Me Saga Boy" from Guild 125. Both are credited to The Lion as songwritter but it was actually Mac Beth on vocals for "Ugly Woman".
