Trinidad and Tobago, W.I. - The Carnival may be officially over but come Saturday 21st February 2015, Carnival come again as Pan Trinbago Inc. presents “Champs of Steel Plus”.
The post-Carnival event which features in part most of the winners and champions of the major competitions gives the public another chance to savor all that was Carnival.
Champs of Steel Plus will be held at the Grand Stand, Queen’s Park Savannah, Port of Spain, from 8:00 pm. Tickets cost $100. and will be sold at the venue on the day of the event.
This year’s production features some of the finest exponents of pan, mas, and calypso on one stage in final blaze of glory.
Headliners are the winners in the various National Panorama categories in both Senior and Junior competitions, Senior & Junior Kings and Queens of Carnival and the Junior Band of the Year Winner “Play One For Cito” produced by Rosalind Gabriel.
Special guest is the mas presentation of K2K Alliance & Partners’ “M3 (Millennia Three) The Long Walk From Home”.
Also making the playbill are some of the season’s champions and contenders including the National Calypso Monarch Roderick “Chucky” Gordon, second runner-up Karene Asche and Junior Calypso Monarch Aaron Duncan.
Some of the biggest names representing Power and Groovy Soca will be featured such as Ricardo ”Vagabond” Drue.
