Do we have Judases in pan?
30 pieces of silver has three well-respected men singing for their supper from the president.

There are three well-known men that are very vocal in the pan movement of their support for the president and his executive. They are now being called the Judases of the movement by the pan community because of the monetary compensation they have collected in recent times. These three kings would like the president’s reign to continue at the expense of pan men’s labour.
It is no secret that Pan Trinbago now has the worst executive in the 50-odd years of its existence.
For those who disagree, some points to consider.
- A total failure regarding the running of 2017 National Panorama.
- The government’s loss of confidence in Pan Trinbago due to alleged corruption.
- The thirty million dollar financial hole the organization has to dig itself out.
- Due to the numerous lies that have been told to the membership, we now have a mistrustful membership lacking confidence in the executives’ ability to be truthful.
- The president allegedly paid himself an $80,000.00 honorarium.
- Unaccounted for vehicles (an Audi and an x5)..
- The alleged attempt to defraud the government by the president using his residence as the address for his friend to bring in a vehicle (supposedly for Pan Trinbago’s use).

The list goes on until z. These charges were out since March of this year and no explanation to this date has been given. There are now more things to be added, the most recent being the betray by the executive towards pan players in the mecca of steel. The executive promised a $1000.00 remittance in order for pan players to stop protesting earlier this year and after they performed, a $500.00 cheque was presented with no explanation.
After the last unconstitutional meeting on Tuesday 12th of September 2017, it became clear that band leaders have had enough. The meeting began with Mr. Diaz addressing the members which was short-lived as CIP members started chanting NO RESPECT, NO PANOMARA. This historic protest action was supported by the members in attendance. As one brother rightfully said, if the executive had the support of the members, no group would be able to come into any Pan Trinbago meeting with that kind of protest. During the protest, one band manager from the north was showing his disapproval, however, after the protest, band leader after band leader asked Mr Diaz and the executive to step down except for the same gentleman.
After the meeting, a well-known arranger from the east was calling around to members of the pan fraternity, trying to convince them that our protest action was not bearing fruit.
Leading up to the meeting, there was also the other well-known band leader from the south, who, via social media (Facebook), kept trying to convince people that NCC is to blame, not the president, for all our problems. He even called on national radio to discredit CIP members. The same members who protested on Emancipation day, 1st August, for the non-payment of pan players’ remittances, which lead to pan players being paid shortly after.
The CIP decided to do some investigations regarding these three men and all of them had one thing in common, a pay day from the president. A manager from the north got contracts at every Panorama, at an exorbitant fee, to provide security for the Greens/ Panorama. The band leader from south got a prime location to run a bar at all the Panorama events. The arranger from the east negotiated with the president to pay his band all the money owed for their participation in the International Panorama, which was paid, while the rest of our local bands are still awaiting their payments.
Now that we know these facts about these three kings, can they be called the Judases of pan? If so, as our brother Mr. Marcano reminded us, these people did not just walk into Pan Trinbago’s office and write themselves cheques. It is the corrupt executive that is misappropriating our funds to fill their pockets and that of their associates. Pan Trinbago is our organization and the executive is answerable to us. The president and executive MUST GO before we talk panorama or anything else. Otherwise we the members would just be serving the Judases of pan whilst calling them kings.

Ah waiting for Aquil Arrindell to come on the forum one day and say: Claude boy, Kieth Diaz put some real good licks on we; I going back and practice developing my musical skills on the PIANO and the PAN and taking care of my steelband and I done with the PAN TRINBAGO POLITICS TING.
Unknown to the CIP and the forumites and the PAN FRATERNITY, the GOVERNMENT has just given a NEW MANDATE to KEITH DIAZ. Once the idea of having the SMALL BANDS play in CHAGUANAS was floated by Keith Diaz you do not have to be a political scientist to extrapolate.
So all who asking KEITH DIAZ to STEP DOWN -- dey either drunk or dey going mad. Keith Diaz is stronger than ever and badder than ever and he doh even need no THREE JUDAS to support him because he has the full faith and credit of Doctor Dolly and Doctor Rowley.
If the CIP wants to bring down KEITH DIAZ they MUST set their bows and arrows on ROWLEY and DOLLY first. And since this message is HERESY to them, then once again I REPEAT: KEITH DIAZ TIL 2020.
It shocks me to see BIG MEN like Gregory Lindsay and Aquil Arrindell and Oswald Alexander and Byron Serrette running for political office in PAN TRINBAGO and do not have a single clue about PARTY POLITICS in Trinidad and Tobago. First of all a PNM GOVERMENT will NEVER EVER NO DAY expose corruption in PAN TRINBAGO. And second of all a UNC GOVERNMENT will never dare bring NO CORRUPTION CHARGES against KEITH DIAZ because MICHAEL JOSEPH and the AFRICANS will SCREAM RACISM.
So the only thing to move KEITH DIAZ from office is a BAD HEART. And according to my CRYSTAL BALL that heart eh programmed to go out until 2020. Now everybody know where my 2020 number come from since the term ends in 2021!!!
I say is time to GIVE UP fighting KEITH DIAZ and move on to better topics. Like why our PAN MUSICIANS cannot COMPOSE some DECENT PAN MUSIC that could be played on RADIO STATIONS around the world. Everywhere PAN MEN go and play around the world dey does THRILL AUDIENCES with the LIVE PERFORMANCES.
So why can't we leave something in the form of RECORDED MUSIC for them to listen to and play on their radio and TV after the STEELBAND gone back to Trinidad? Ask anybody on this forum and they will give you a LONG LIST of MUSICAL GENIUSES we have down in THE MECCA. And how come these musical geniuses cannot produce a decent piece of PAN MUSIC to win GLOBAL APPEAL?
Salmon Cupid make ah BIG FANCY E-PAN with all the technical trimmings and nobody cyar take the FANCY MACHINE and crank out some HEAVENLY PAN TONES to mesmerize the world?
All dem musical geniuses sitting around waiting for the NEXT PANORAMA and cannot think outside of 1980 square miles!!!

How would/could SMALL BANDS playing in CHAGUANAS save the Panorama from its declining attendance, the events completing in a timely manner and help generate earnings for pan men and women???
What's his game PLAN? Where's the evidence of good organizational/managerial/leadership SKILLS?
PANORAMA FINALS has many unresolved issues the needs addressing. Can the LEADER come up with a MASTER PLAN that outlines solutions for Panorama problems?
