The time has come for all the steelbands with backward management to get rid of them, they have been sitting on their bands and making excuses for too long, DO SOMETHING.
Something is being done CH, I cannot disclose it at this present time, the skipper Anthony Williams and I had discuss this sometime back, now's maybe the time to implement it.

Truth be told, there is little the Mecca can offer the rest of the world as it is, in foreign they have good tuners, arrangers, players and bands and pretty soon they'll find out how to produce music with Global flavor, what everybody want to find out is what to do after panorama? there HAS to be something after they have invested all that time, energy and money.
CH, Truth be told there is, little that the Mecca can offer the rest of the world as it is, Yes, very little if they know what to do, and as for good tuners, it T&T the tuning is far better than, as U say in foreign are really not as good Y? this nonsense they call "harmonics tuning", first things first, the word is harmonic tuning, not harmonics, harmonic tuning is when U tune a instrument with a device other than the one ur tuning example, a tuning folk with a pan, a key board with a guitar, a harmonica with a pan etc, harmonics is falsetto, not a true note, I was told by one tuner that, when U hit the note it must sound like a chord, which is comprise of 3/4 notes, I said what? when that is done the note becomes dense or crowded, and the note loses it tonality and volume, and the note goes out of tune easily, so CH, you're on to something that most people cannot observe...,

In the SHORT TERM, the BIG 5 FOUNDATION has NOTHING TO DO WITH CARNIVAL!!! Maybe as they gain political power in 5 to 10 years they could expand their focus. But, clearly, that would be for a next generation.
