  • LA (Littlehampton Academy) Steelband Festival features Reigate Pilgrim Steel band, North Tyneside Steelband, CSI Steelband, plus Littlehampton bands Synergy, Connaught Junior School and Brighton-based Euphoria steelband Pan soloists include Jenny Gilberg and pan and marimba duets from Rachel Hayward and Lee Nelson.  Additional activities  include ‘have a go pan workshops’ for children and much more.  Time:  12:30–5:30 p.m.  Venue:  Littlehampton Academy Sports Hall, Hill Road, Littlehampton, West Sussex, ENGLAND.  More info

    Workshops -
    Dr. Eugene Novotney, Kenneth Joseph and Dr. Shannon Dudley present sectional workshops concurrently, followed by an engine room demonstration and mass steel band performance.   • Sunday, May 1st: Ithaca College Steelband and Choir performing "In the Shadows of the Forest," my suite for steel band and choir. 3:00 p.m. at Ford Hall on the Ithaca College campus.
