I have been a member of this Forum since 2012 and have not regreted it for one minute. Within recent times I have been locked on and reading mainly with the intention to learn and gather information from all of the contributors. I say "nuff " respect to all of you especially those who have promoted my name every minute, hour, day and night in this page. Sometimes I chuckle at the criticisms that are intended to draw me out  and I embrace the constructive criticism but all in all I've gained knowledge from everyone of you.
As all of you are aware, i am a presidential candidate in the upcoming Pan Trinbago election. Why did I accept to run this race for yet another time? Well, let me tell you! Pan needs Honesty and Integrity in public affairs. PAN needs Leadership it can trust. PanTrinbago needs Re - Building and through partnership and networking I can lead a strong and powerful team to achieve such.
I believe that Pan is community, Pan is about developing people, Pan is industry, Pan is prosperity, Pan can unite, Pan can impact globally, Pan is and Pan can be the vehicle for social progress, PAN is a Powerful Change Agent. I am very passionate about improving organizations and because I know the importance of bodies like Pan Trinbago to nation building and the role they can play in contributing to governance they should be taken seriously and given full support. Once these organisations are managed effectively any Government or private sector will support them in their Aims and objectives. Yes! my experience as the person once responsible for Community Development and Culture in Tobago and my work in other governmental agencies has equipped me with the knowledge and negotiating skills to bring about prosperity in Pan and Also the further development the fraternity. Therefore, in order for the Steel Pan community to realize the full potential of the national instrument of Trinidad and Tobago it must embrace leadership that is Competent, Empowering, and Inspiring. It must also support Visionary leaders that can bring out the best in people so that together they can build a brighter future for generations to come. I accepted because I know that I can make a difference and I know that I will, once given the opportunity to serve.
I am also humbled to have been asked to lead team Re -Build. A team consisting of Women, Experience and Youth. The team has been sharing information with you and will continue to do so from time to time. We look forward to your suggestions and comments and please note that we recognize you efforts to place pan on the world stage and with a victory to come we will see a cadre of Steel Pan Ambassadors and Attaches in the New Global Pan Society (G P S ) We also know that there are many things you want to say and ask us  and there is so much more we want to tell you but there is coming a time when we all will play a role in restructuring and rebuilding our beloved Organisation.

Regards,

Beverley.

  • I am impressed by what Ms Moore says about 'what Pan is' and 'what Pan needs'. "Pan needs Honesty and Integrity in public affairs". Pan can unite. Pan is about developing ppl. The question is 'has she surrounded herself with ppl who share those sentiments? Whose lives are testaments to those ideals? Were they really vetted?

Everything is politics, they say, so honesty and integrity doh matter, ent?

  • Welcome madam PRESIDENT!!!

  • Good morning Ms. Ramsey Moore

Looking forward to you and your team bringing positive change and respectability to Pan Trinbago. However, while I still don't think it is possible for Pan Trinbago to represent the interest of the bands, players and government - your replacing the current gangstas in office will be a welcomed change.

And I'm sure you know that while Claude suffers from serious concussions, he will be your biggest supporter in the future. As one of over 20,000 WST forumites, WELCOME.
