Mismanagement Of Funds At TUCO, NCBA And Pan Trinbago

Written by

Cabinet has commissioned an Auditor General's Report, after an audit into the Trinbago Unified Calypsonians' Organisation (TUCO), the National Carnival Bands Association (NCBA), and Pan Trinbago showed mismanagement of funds for the period 2013-2016.

Minister of Community Development, Culture and Arts, Dr. Nyan Gadsby-Dolly, told the Parliament on Friday that in an effort to enhance transparency into the Carnival interest groups, Government procured the services of Ernst & Young.

Minister Gadsby-Dolly also spoke about the lack of transparency when it comes to Carnival vendors.

She said the Auditor General will be given one month to produce their report.
