The National Carnival Commission (NCC) has a little over a month to pay Pan Trinbago the $3 million in ticket sales it collected for this year’s Panorama competition.
High Court judge Vasheist Kokaram made the order in the Hall of Justice in Port-of-Spain as he ruled that the NCC had acted unlawfully when it took a unilateral decision to take away the power from the organisation over alleged issues of financial accountability.
Immediately following the judgment, NCC’s lawyer Rishi Dass requested that Kokaram’s order for payment of the money, which was held in escrow from the start of the case, to be stayed

It seems that NCC was pushed by the Minister to take an action that was unlawful, if so, yuh can't argue with the decision of the HCJ. Yeah, but stay the order anyway. Lehwe see what Dass have up he sleeve.

That's NOT her responsibility, she made the DECISION. The head of the NCC FAILED to carry out his JOB responsibilities/duties. What do you expect her to do CRACK WHIP and put everybody in LINE. IF I'm a BOSS and I have to come and show you HOW to do your JOB there's no need to have you there I'll hire someone QUALIFIED to get it done. Incompetence on the part of the legal reps and the head of the NCC no excuse, I'll ask fuh my money back poor representation or set preconditions for representation.
