“...the place for great steelpan music performances”

Iman Pascall performs at TrendzBrooklyn, New York, USA - There is no shortage of great clubs that feature live music from outstanding performing musicians in New York. And in this regard the Trendz night club is well on its way to establish itself as such. • Dissolving the Barriers in East Flatbush

East Flatbush keeps pan music alive after Panorama. Here, in our corner of the world culture dissolves the barriers. Colorful chords arranged in multilingual rhythms. Movements and moods with a lil jazz, a lil calypso, a lil samba, a lil reggae a lil compa, a lil meringue. Back stories emerge from unwritten notes and are now heard. Genius! The musician as griot when steel talks through improvisations and solos. Phoebe Blake Dexter Braithwaite In East Flatbush the pan woman and pan man are sacred. They nourish our souls. There are lots of souls. The souls of Black folks.
