STEELBAND OFF TO "Kosovo"

Congratulations to a steelband from the Washington, DC area, C.A.I.S.O to their visit to KOSOVO in which they will entertain the American troops over the labor day weekend. They have been around since 1979, led and formed by David Zephrine from Westside Symphony and Michael George (the oneman band) from Solo Harmonites. It's a small band 4 or 5 for the most, but they have been around, congratulations again, PAN IS HERE TO STAYhttp://www.gazette.net/article/20120827/ENTERTAINMENT/708279999/1148/patriots-of-the-caribbean-embark-on-musical-mission

  • Bede, this brings Protector's Calypso " A Symphony For Peace " to mind . It may very well be that the Real Remedy that will bring the World that much needed Peace lies in the Music of that MAGICAL Instrument call the STEEL PAN . Congrats to the Band and Best Wishes for a very enjoyable and successful Tour .

  • I want to wish these players from Trinidad & Tobago a safe and pleasant voyage TO Kosovo,  DAVID ZEPHRINE, MICHAEL GEORGE, MICHAEL KING JR. AND ORIN RICHARDS (spread the steel pan music all over the world)
