These three leaders from the OLD MENTALITY (very old mentality) are going to be the PRIMARY CONTENDERS in the NEXT ELECTION. With Gerard Mendez booked at 4/5 ODDS at the LAS VEGAS SPORTS BOOKS.
Mendez will most likely rule for the next 12 years taking us way up to 2030.
So all these utopian articles I keep reading from time to time -- clothed in multisyllabic words strung like pearls on a necklace dancing pompously on the pages of the local newspapers -- fail miserably to bridge the gap between the REALITY THAT IS PAN TRINBAGO (corruption and self-dealing) and the ACTIVISM that is necessary to collapse the time frame for PAN PROGRESS IN THE MECCA.
And on a vaguely related topic (not so vaguely related in my mind), I am predicting that THE PACIFIC NORTH WEST will become one of the MOST PRODUCTIVE areas in North America for STEELBAND MUSIC. That is a long story about demographic changes on the WEST COAST and all that stuff; so I am sticking to THE RESULT and not THE CAUSE.
