The 14^th annual Virginia International PANFest takes place on May 6^th and 7^th in Virginia Beach, VA. The event will be headlined by Liam Teague and the Northern Illinois University Steel Band, with an opening performance by Jonathan Scales Fourchestra. On Friday, May 6^th, there will be a pan workshop for participants taught by 3 of our adjudicators, including a screening of the pan film “Panomundo.” Adjudicating the steel band competition on May 7^th will be Cliff Alexis, CJ Menge, Dr. Jeannine Remy, Yuko Asada and Dr. Dawn Batson. Bands from all around the country and neighboring islands have competed in this festival, and each group leaves with an accurate assessment of their band from experts in the field.
