Join Delaware Steel, the University of Delaware's premier steel band, for a weekend of amazing music!Friday, April 23 - Calypso legend David Rudder and steel pan jazz great Andy Narell team up with Delaware Steel at the Baby Grand at 818 N. Market St., Wilmington, Delaware. 8 PM. Tickets are $25.Saturday afternoon, April 24 - the UD Steel Band Festival will host bands from Barbados, Ohio, Washington, D.C., and Delaware on the grassy area between Amy E. DuPont Music Building and the Roselle Center for the Arts. Music starts at 1 PM; Caribbean food will be for sale.That same evening, Andy Narell and David Rudder play a second concert at 8 PM in Mitchell Hall, Newark, Delaware. Tickets are $25.
