Le 27 mai, pour ses 20 ans, Calyps’Atlantic, le steelband nantais descendra dans les rues du centre-ville, à l’unisson de nombreux autres steelbands français, pour le premier festival national dédié au steeldrum (ou steelpan) à Nantes.
Festival national… mais pas seulement : les grands parrains trinidadiens, luthier, accordeurs, arrangeurs, n’ont jamais lâché les petits cousins nantais. Ils seront aussi de l’expérience. Celle-ci s’achèvera le samedi soir sur la grande scène des Nefs de Nantes. Pour mieux reprendre le lendemain, à la Carrière de Saint-Herblain, avec les enfants du pan.

On May 27th, for its 20th anniversary, Calyps'Atlantic, the Nantes steelband will go down the streets of the city center, in unison with many other French steelbands, for the first national festival dedicated to the steeldrum (or steelpan) in Nantes. National Festival ... but not only: the great Trinidadian godparents, luthiers, tuners, arrangers, never let go of the little Nantes cousins. They will also be experienced.
