The San Jacinto College Central Steel Band is hosting a steel band mega-concert!
We will be joined by Relator, Andy Narell and Mark Walker the Lone Star College - North Harris Steel Band, the newly formed Texas A&M Steel Band and many special guests f
60 minutes of the finest steelpan recordings and talk that matters. Nyasha Rhoden, music teacher/composer co-hosts and Merle Albino deCoteau, steelpan adjudicator in the Spotlight. Merle answers Panorama-related questions.
The musical theme is "love
Come hear works by some of the great steelpan composers as well as some of the best classical composers of all time including Liam Teague and JS Bach, to name a few. Plus arrangements by yours truly, it's gonna be a real musical treat, can't be there
