After a hiatus of eight years, motivated in part by the economic meltdown of the late 2000s, Pan Under the Stars returns to Atlanta, Georgia.
Pan People Steelband, in conjunction with Pan Atlanta Networks, will present 30 years of their collective experiences in sound, sight and spectacle. In addition to Pan People, the line up includes steelpan soloists Bayo Bello, Nicholas Mohan and from Brooklyn , NY, steelpan prodigy and "pannist extraordinaire," Iman Pascall.Pan People will be pulling all stops with moko jumbies, blue devils jab jab, masqueraders in colorful costumes, and much more. The program will be hosted by Bro. Kenneth Zakee and DJ Ibis will provide the sound system.
