Event Description

Come support PANgea and Pan Prep perform for Lincoln's Farmer's Market in the Historic Haymarket!

9:30 am - 10:00 am - Pan Prep performance
10:00 am - 11:00 am - PANgea performance

Founded in 2003 by LPS music educator John Scofield, PANgea is the only group of its kind in Nebraska. The group was formed as a means to give percussionists throughout LPS more opportunities than they would find in a traditional concert band setting.

PANgea is an entity of Lincoln Public Schools. Consisting of members grades 6-12, it is an auditioned group that rehearses once a week on Saturday mornings and performs 10-12 times each spring at various events. Serving as an ambassador for LPS, PANgea aims to reach many different organizations throughout the Lincoln community while providing educational performing opportunities to our students.

Most LPS middle schools and ALL LPS high schools are represented in our membership.
