Pan players of the PNW here is a rare opportunity to study with world renowned musician and steel pan guru Andy Narell.
In this two day intensive workshop you will have the opportunity to work as an ensemble with other pan players in our area and master one of Andy's own T&T Panorama arrangements.

This workshop is intended for intermediate to advanced players.
Sheet and audio music is sent months in advance, then we will come together and work collectively with Andy to receive feedback and perfect the tune as a group. Workshop also includes smaller lecture and opportunity for one on one feedback Q&A

Bio:
Andy Narell recorded his first album as a leader in 1979 and has never looked back. He’s spent the past 39 years exploring the possibilities of the steel pan in contemporary music, and is equally known as a jazz improviser and steel band composer. His work is the subject of two documentary films – ‘Andy and the Jumbies’ and ‘Calypso Fever.’ In 2017 Narell was inducted into the Percussive Arts Society Hall of Fame.
