Events

Catalina Foothills High School Falcon Steel Band, under the direction of Tina Walton, will perform as the solo ensemble with the Tucson Pops Orchestra under the baton of Lazslo Veres.  Music will feature "Steelin' de Medley" which will feature several traditional Caribbean melodies, such as "Rum and Coca Cola" and "Sly Mongoose" with a few new popular ones such as "Morning Dance" and "Hot, Hot, Hot", and finally "Jump in de Line".   Concert starts at 7:00 pm and will be held at the DeMeester Performing Arts Center at Reid Park.  Date is May 13, 2012
