patrick, it is difficult to  find two bands playing the same tune to run 1 and 3, this is why you stand a better chance choosing ah different tune, it is said that the judges get tired hearing the same tune and just choose the best one.

Arrangement, Cecil, arrangement. I like Andre's arrangements also.

patrick, I also like Andre arrangements but look who he is going up against Duvonne, LeRoy Clarke and Halfers. LeRoy Clarke is an awesome arranger, I would love to have him go up against the "big boys" in the Mecca.

Renegades and Despers _ Pan night and day , for starters...If I remember correctly , didn't they tie for first place ?

Oh and didn't Phase II and Fonclaire come in one ,two with a Boogsie tune ?
