Education Minister Anthony Garcia has extended congratulations and well-wishes to the new principal of the University of the West Indies (UWI) St Augustine campus.
Professor Brian Copeland, who took up duties last year, was formally installed during an induction ceremony at the university on Saturday night.
Speaking at the ceremony, Garcia hailed Prof Copeland's contributions as an educator and in the development of the electronic steel pan."One cannot speak about Prof Copeland without mentioning the steel pan," Garcia added.
