I have always seen THE POTENTIAL of CHUTNEY SOCA MUSIC to BREAK GLOBALLY -- but I always thought that the TRINIDAD ARTISTES were going to be the ones to do it. However, they never woke up from THE VILLAGE MENTALITY (even after RADICA showed them the way forward) and now GUYANA took the ball and ran with it.
I think that THIS SONG is going to break through on a small global scale and set the TREND for more MORE CROSSOVER CHUTNEY leading to MASSIVE GLOBAL AUDIENCES. Hopefully the TRINIDAD SOCA ARTISTES will WAKE UP and JOIN THE GLOBAL SOCA CHUTNEY GOLD RUSH!!!
