Any law to restrict people from gathering deprives a citizen of their constitutional right to freedom of movement and assembly;
Any law that requires businesses to close infringes a person's right to enjoyment of property as this tight includes the right to carry out a legal enterprise.
All around the world, governments have taken the appropriate legal steps to limit citizen's rights and have done so by due process.
You can dress up the laws as much as you want, but any legal mind worth their salt knows that you cannot temporarily suspend a citizen's constitutional rights without declaring a state of emergency.
Now is the time to save our lives, and if the PM does not take these harsh but necessary decisions, many of us could die. As for me, I don't wish to die,...not just yet.
There is talk that the Govt (PM) does not want to declare an SOE because the Govt does not want to disturb the 1% whose businesses will be seriously affected. It is time for the GOVT to slap the SOE on the entire population. It is better we take that Hard Slap now than a fatal hit!!!
Both the TTPS and the TTDF are being placed in an awkward position. Decisiveness is required, no room for ambiguity!!!"
