Realistically, if the government hand over $500,000,000 to BEVERLEY and PAN TRINBAGO after CARNIVAL 2022 -- how much of that money will still be around for CARNIVAL 2023.
I am sure that it will disappear and nobody could account for the money. Because PAN TRINBAGO has always been about STUFFING THE POCKETS OF EXECUTIVES and their PET BANDS. Allyuh have any idea how many MILLIONS have been spent on TOBAGO PAN over the last THREE YEARS while TRINIDAD PAN MEN SCRUNTING. I, personally, have been recruited to send money here and send money there for this one and that one because TINGS so bad for PAN MEN in TRINIDAD.
And this NEW MINISTER OF CULTURE -- he doh LIKE PAN and he doh TRUST NO PAN MAN WITH MONEY. So it is DESPERATE TIMES IN THE PAN WORLD. Allyuh see how much FANCY CLOTHES BEVERLEY buy over the last TWO and HALF YEARS ... and how many TOBAGO PEOPLE benefit directly from PAN TRINBAGO when PAN MAN TRINIDAD hungry and suffering.
THE PROBLEM is a lack of HONEST LEADERSHIP coupled with a LACK OF ADMINISTRATIVE SKILLS. And a GENUINE CONCERN to see PAN PROGRESS.
So it does not matter how much money the government hands over -- PAN WILL NEVER PROGRESS with the WRONG LEADERSHIP. And until PAN MEN wake up and realize the POLITICAL and ECONOMIC POWER they have over CARNIVAL and PAN TRINBAGO -- the exploitation will continue and THE CHOPPING BLOCK will just continue to be A PLATFORM FOR PIPE DREAMS AND OLE TALK!!!
