SIXTEEN ARRANGERS trying TO WIN and ONE ARRANGER trying NOT TO LOSE -- VERY EXCITING.
I think that DUVONE STEWART is going to win again this year, although I think that he CORRUPTED the PANORAMA MUSIC last year and everybody else is trying to FOLLOW HIM this year.
But what I have grown to like most about THE PANORAMA is the PANORAMA NIGHT CHAT that accompanies the BROADCAST. Where TRINIDADIANS from all over the world come together and share the CULTURAL EXPERIENCE. And the TRINI WOMEN (some real HARDCORE PAN LOVERS) come from ALL OVER -- as bold as ever supporting their band and HITTING HARD with the OLE TALK.
I am looking forward to THE CHAT more than THE MUSIC because I am not sure that some of those selections this year really fit THE PAN. I know that everybody says that PAN COULD PLAY any kind of music -- but as a CALYPSO LOVER I have never bought into that from as far back as the 50's when I was a CALYPSO LOVING little boy.
DUVONE STEWART is going to THROW EVERYTHING in there INCLUDING THE KITCHEN SINK and the crowd WILL ROAR and the judges will APPLAUD with the HIGHEST POINTS. But that is not my idea of PAN MUSIC or any kind of music for that matter.
