It take me ah long time to catch meh bearings here. And ah hope ah get the FACTS right. (Otherwise I will just have to delete the post.) As it happens I do not listen to anything less than a HANDFUL of steelbands for the whole PANORAMA SEASON -- only about FIVE in the LARGE CATEGORY and that is about it.
So when it come to MEDIUM and SMALL and SINGLE PAN -- yuh could forget it. Now because NEWTOWN PLAYBOYS put down such a nice performance ON D AVENUE -- I broke my code and tried to listen to them in the EARLIES. But that turned in to PURE DISASTER.
In that context, if somebody offers to pay me $100 to listen to one SCHOOL BAND I will have to turn down the $100. So I was not really following all these tears on the SCHOOLS PANORAMA not being broadcast.
But I decided to read a response by my pardner Aquil and I happened to glance and see that THE MIGHTY MERRYTONESTOTHEBONE came 4th in the competition (Providence Girls/QRC Steel Orchestra).
So a BIG HEARTY CONGRATULATIONS to merrytonestothebone on his SUCCESS. A regular on the forum rises to fame. TAKE A BOW MERRYTONESTOTHEBONE.
Now ah doh want nobody to come on this post and tell me that my TOPIC SENTENCE was too far separated from the TITLE of my posting; turning out to be nothing more than an addendum; and not giving me any delivery space for the reassertion of my thesis statement.
