Bobby Mohammed is forever etched in my memory because in 1965 when Cavaliers came down the drag it was dust in the place, and power from the band, they were huge, and there was Bobby high up on ah rack beating ah bell. I stood in awe and watch as they roll down the drag, it was like they came to prove ah point, they did...
I remember THE ANTICIPATION in the GRAND STAND as people started to crane their necks towards the temporary stands to the right as the cloud of dust and the shirts flying in the air and the RUMBLE OF THE BASS and this massive crowd with this UNUSUAL EXUBERANCE approached us ,,, and then the silence only interrupted by BOBBY MOHAMMED and his COWBELL ATOP THE TRUCK ... and then AN EXLPOSION OF PAN that I have never heard before or after. THAT WAS MADNESS!!! THAT WAS ECSTASY!!! A once in a lifetime experience.
