I would advise BEVERLEY to have a PRESS CONFERENCE (ah been begging for that press conference for 13 weeks now) and present the situation to the PRESS and the PUBLIC and make an appeal to all citizens and corporations to STEP UP and clear the remittances to the PAN PLAYERS. Is only about 7000 players and if you scrub the list, it might boil down to 6000.
Make the appeal LOCAL and GLOBAL!!! It have TENS OF THOUSANDS of PAN LOVERS all over the world. If you can deliver the right appeal, and if these people really care for PAN as much as they say that they do -- they just might come through. It is worth a try!!!
WHEN STEEL TALKS alone have 20,000 members -- all who swear that they LOVE PAN. And when you go around all the facebook sites you could find thousands and thousands of PAN LOVERS who supposedly LOVE PAN and DIE FOR PANORAMA.
And then you go back to your office and have the 50 people on your staff start calling every company in Trinidad asking for a little help. Even reach out to all the big DRUG LORDS and DEALERS who are sitting down on millions. No shame in that: The MIAMI SKY LINE was BUILT ON DRUG MONEY!

There are things the administration could do to save the day. Everybody loves you: So set up an email address and a dedicated cell phone and make yourself accessible. One of your staff members could handle the incoming traffic and link back to you accordingly.
Right after the NEWS CONFERENCE, I am going to be one of the first in line to send MY CONTRIBUTION to MARCUS ASH so that he could take care of business.
That is my suggestion to you. There are thousands of PAN LOVERS out there who could come on THIS FORUM and make better suggestions. Since they so love you and the PANORAMA so much -- I am encouraging them to STEP UP.
There is still a lot of time left before PANORAMA and if money starts rolling in at any level -- the players might just start CATCHING THE PANORAMA FEVER.

bugs: Most interesting that you mentioned the NCAA!!! Ah look at all dem FULL STADIUMS for all dem BOWL GAMES (and throughout the season) and I made the same linkage with the PAN MEN IN TRINIDAD -- NO PAY for the PLAYERS. Ah almost went and try to dig up some numbers but I left it alone!!!
Claude these FULL STADIUMS and BOWL GAMES you referring to, you attend feeling safe. Crime plays a big part in fan attendance at any carnival function in TT today. It was not like this not to long ago. I believe the North Stand will fill up if crime is drastically reduced, and the Port of Spain hospital better staffed during panorama and carnival.

Noah: I put my money (Steling) where my mouth is as I proudly support everything pan related when I visit Trinidad. However, one thing I would have to say bothers me and you probably have the seme issue. Why is the Parades of the Bands DVDs ready to purchase before the Panorama DVDs even though Panorama takes place before POTD? A lot of revenue is lost when visitors leave the country and cannot purchase the Panorama DVD at the airport. That really needs to be fixed urgently!
