Glenroy: You have just summarized THE PROBLEM with the RIGGED SYSTEM!!! 120 members may be playing in THE BAND. But THREE PEOPLE are going to get together and make ALL THE ADMINISTRATIVE DECISIONS.
There are young people that is Judges, Doctors, Lawyers, CEOs some probably live with their parents, T&T also have bright young people capable of running Pan Trinbago.
How are young people going to step up? Is not JUST IN PAN and TRINIDAD.

This is 2018 and she is 85 years old now with TEN FACELIFTS (and looking younger than BUGS) -- and she eh start to think about STEPPING DOWN YET.

Bugs, I look at ComPanions in T&T and see the support they have from steelbands, pretty soon they will realize how important they are to the progress of everything PAN in T&T. On many occasions I've suggested that they form a Political wing without success, but it is inevitable .
But Cecil how can the young people step up when the same old same old who voted the gangstas in are running the bands?
The young people need to organize and setup a collective bargaining agreement with the band association.

Therefore no power over delegate selection?
Because , is spite of all the noise everyone is making , that is wheer change has to begin , at the grass roots.
And if players cannot influence the selection of the band delegates to Pan Trinbago ( who are the voters ), nothing will happen , so Cecil might as well hush his mouth , and Claude might as well go back to worrying about Trump , Kamla Harris, and dem politicians on the "left" coast !

As of right now they cannot. They have the same problem the young folks had in the civil rights movement. It was not until young folks left MLK's organization and joined the Panthers, SNCC, PUSH and the likes were young people truly afforded the opportunity to lead and create meaningful change.
Unless some people from the PT go to jail. It will not change and young people will not have a real voice in that organization.

On average young people in Trinidad are allowed to very happily live in their mother's and father's house till age 30, most times for free. Do you expect people who have been historically taught to be afraid of the challenge of "minding dey own self" to be even interested in "minding" a challenging organization like Pan Trinbago?
merrytones, big men screw up, give them ah chance to screw up too. do not under estimate young people.They can adapt to suite.
