This is wonderful , quite wonderful and I love the approach.
However, I have a question : why is the approach not from the double seconds instead of the hihest voice.
Smokey John was my teacher. His approach was from the double seconds because it allowed a broader understanding of the pan rather than the single approach of the soprano or tenor pan as some musicians like to call it. ultimately it depends on the student.
However I agree with Smokey because it allowed a better understanding of the instruments.
