Aquil Arrindell for President. Part 2

Further to my suggestion that Aquil Arrildell should be considered as the most suitable candidate for the position of president in the upcoming central executive elections of Pantrinbago, I wish to attempt to justify my suggestion.

The sitting president, and by extension her executive has demonstrated their inability to mobilize the membership in times of crisis.

Aquil has demonstrated his capacity to creatively and single-handedly offer the entire steelband fraternity a platform to showcase the artform, while the sitting executive sat.

As a result of the cancellation of carnival 2021, which in effect means no panorama, the incumbent Pantrinbago president, and by extension her executive, has further demonstrated their bankruptcy, and suitability as events coordinators only.

As we dive into the 21st century, we must supersede unforced errors of the past. Some of these mistakes include but are not limited to the fact that no successful organization elects or appoints human resource that has

1. expired, or

2. has demonstrated the ability to allow their actions in elected office, and permit their character in managerial positions to be continually questioned.

As we go forward, steelbands must consider what are the factors that would influence their progressive growth and development. Longevity is crucial to the realization of any goal, while transparency and accountability will ensure the necessary checks and balances.

I do not believe that the steelband movement should delay considering the stewards that should be installed to take care of panmen's business. There is no carnival, which means that steelband leaders have more time to consider the direction in which their organizations should head. I firmly believe that the direction in which Aquil has independently and single-handedly taken his band, and the influence and support he has lent to numerous other bands unsolicited, helps qualifiy him to lead the steelband movement. in the 21st century.

Therefore I have no hesitation in continuing to suggest, and recommend to all steelbands across the length and breath of Trinidad and Tobago, that Aquil Arrindell be considered for the position of president in the upcoming Pantrinbago central executive elections.

  • TOBAGO VOTING AS A BLOCK for BEVERLEY!!!

Can AQUIL ARRINDELL get SOUTH TO VOTE AS A BLOCK to counter THE TOBAGO VOTE?

And do you really know HOW DESPERATE BEVERLEY IS to hold on to that POWER (even though she contributes NOTHING TO PAN PROGRESS)?
