I have a LOVE HATE relationship with PAN MUSIC because 99.999 percent of the PAN MUSIC that I hear is GARBAGE/NOISE. And I said that when I first came on this forum and it still holds true today. Not that I cannot enjoy the CRASSNESS of the INSTRUMENTS -- but it is just that I expect finesse and development in the recording process. And, obviously to me, there has been very little gains with all the advancements in RECORDING TECHNOLOGY. So I give up.

Every musical instrument that has gained MAIN STREAM RECOGNITION over centuries has been taken to studios and recorded by experts on the instrument and reached audiences around the world. But PAN MUSIC is still stuck in the DARK AGES of RECORDING TECHNOLOGY either because of the lack of TALENT or TECHNIQUE.

Andy's journey is OVER. He has nothing else left in his tank. But outside of him, there is NO TALENT there to bring the music to GLOBAL AUDIENCES.

LOTS OF EMOTION OVER GARBAGE MUSIC -- BUT ZERO GLOBAL ACCEPTANCE!!!

Yes!!! Let us wait for 3000 tourists to come on a cruise ship and hear it LIVE in the DESPERADOES PAN YARD. But ask THE GREAT DESPERADOES to go the studio and record some PAN MUSIC that could be played on RADIO STATIONS around the world -- and you are talking GREEK to them

The kind of TALENT that is required to reach that level does not reside in TRINIDAD and TOBAGO -- and clearly, if it did it would have been VOICING on radio stations around the world decades ago.

Well, if the PNM GOVERNMENT would only PROCLAIM THE PAN as the NATIONAL INSTRUMENT OF TRINIDAD and TOBAGO -- all things magical and development would suddenly manifest ... according to BEVERLEY RAMSEY-MOORE. But I know better because I live on the outside. And my outside PAN RESUME is longer than RUSSELL PROVIDENCE LOCAL PAN RESUME -- by two miles.
