For years I have told this forum that Keith Diaz is one of the greatest politicians I have ever seen. So even though he now seems be on the ropes for spending/stealing/misappropriating/owing $34.5 million -- I am going to predict that Keith Diaz will survive this backstabbing by Byron Serrette and continue to rule Pan Trinbago for years to come.

I am going back to asking WHERE IS THE MUSIC? And with Jonathan Scales becoming the Musical Ambassador to Asia showcasing the PAN -- where are our PAN STARS and why can't they go INTERNATIONAL?

  • Gentlemen I disagree with you, I believe Diaz days are over if not numbered. I don't think it's about the Minister alone it's a reflection of the PM also, the opposition will have a field day with them if they give Pan Trinbago money in 2017.

  • Claude the reality is when the name Pan Trinbago is mentioned outside of Trinidad & Tobago the reactions are snickering, shaking of heads or outright laughter.  Everyone has seen or heard the stories of outright gangstarism. Bryon Serrette did not stab him in the back. He stabbed him in the belly. But I agree with you, Diaz will live on because he operates in a gangsta paradise. No major organ or artery was damaged.  Diaz knows he is surrounded by weak-minded and corrupt people. Unless 60 Minutes does a story on Minister Dolly and her part in funding Dias' corrupt operation year after year, the flow of Panorama funding will continue to go Diaz.

On the music front - the local production, marketing and approach has been terrible. In last few years only the recordings Robert Greenidge has done with the late Ralph McDonald or this year's Leon "Foster" Thomas project are on point with with expected professional recording standards and production. And I'm not sure they can be considered local.
