I have not been SO CAPTURED by a CALYPSO in DECADES. And because it transcended CALYPSO and ventured into the arena of BLUES (a genre that has touched my soul -- running a close second to CALYPSO) ... I am still trying to DECIPHER what in THIS SONG makes it SO SPECIAL to me.
Now, as a LIFELONG LOVER of CALYPSO, there always seems to be a STANDOUT COUPLET that wraps around my head and leaves a lifetime imprint -- in EVERY CALYPSO that I have RATED as GREAT!!!
