Assistant Secretary of Pan Trinbago, has resigned

When Steel Talks has learned that Central Executive member Cindy Rosemin who served as Assistant Secretary of Pan Trinbago, has resigned. Her resignation represents the second in as many days from the much-maligned organization. The first executive to officially resign was Education Officer Aquil Arrindell.

She has cited major concerns over the issues of transparency, communication and finances as reasons for her immediate departure from the organization.  In addition, Ms. Rosemin felt that there was a pattern of disrespect for the Pan people of Trinidad and Tobago, who she supports totally.

  • Pan official quits, slams ‘lavish spending...

“From interim to elected I requested on more than one occasion some transparency with the financial accounts of the organisation from the treasury, specifically, all accounts and balances and updates if possible for all monthly statutory meetings. My request was approved by the president verbally, witnessed by other executive members but were never met. I raised concerns with the manner in which funds were being used, callously, I may add, as in my understanding Pan Trinbago Inc is, has always been and still is a non-profit organisation and should have always been operated and should be operating as such. In my opinion the lavish financial spending and financial inconsistencies have far exceeded any acceptable level. When I raised these issues I was shot down,” Rosemin wrote.
