Wednesday September 2^nd:

8:00 p.m. - CrossFire Steel Orchestra - [DONE]
9:30 p.m. - Despers USA Steel Orchestra - CANCELLED -- due
to the NYPD (New York Police Department) shutting down Despers USA early and interrupting rehearsal sessions, this scheduled recording time-slot is CANCELLED.
Check back for any possible further development.

11:30 p.m. - D’Radoes Steel Orchestra - [DONE]

Friday September 4^th:

10:00 p.m. - Steel-Xplosion-USA Steel Orchestra - [DONE]
1:30 a.m. - Despers USA Steel Orchestra - [DONE]

What the hell is going on with NYPD shutting down pan rehersals,recordings and even backyard BBQs ! Yet alone the trouble that most of the Brooklyn steelbands had to endure as far as relocating panyards this year 2015. This nonsense has been going on the last couple of years. It sees as though the steelbands are getting no respect from the Mayor's Office and NYPD. Where is our community leaders and City Council members.The annual NY Steelpan Panorama generates thousands of the dollars for NYC with the ticket prices at $45 plus and the Brooklyn Museum is packed to capacity every year with paying patrons. And guess what ,some of this money goes towards paying the overtime salaries of these same NYPD hyprocites . The annual Labor Day Parade is the biggest in NYC with close to two million people on Eastern Parkway and brings in millions of dollars to the city in revenue and a lot of them are visitors. When are we going to come to our senses and stop taking this abuse. We all know that to achieve good quality sound from a steelband for panorama requires long practice and rehersals. As a vocal WST member and ConEd worker for 34years and running I say let's boycott the 2016 NY Panorama.

what is Wiadca doing about the steelbands rehearsal being shut down ,they need to get involved with the crap that is going on.
