Bertel Gittens was NOT in the 200 meetings that took place in the last SEVEN MONTHS in PAN TRINBAGO -- so why is BEVERLEY RAMSEY-MOORE sending BERTEL GITTENS to defend PAN TRINBAGO against the heavy CRITICISM that is bombarding the NEW PANORAMA PLAN all over THE INTERNET?
We either need MARCUS ASH or the LADY IN THE SUIT with THE TIE and ting to come on THIS FORUM and explain this NEW PANORAMA FORMAT to us.
This is the LARGEST PAN CELL in the world and PAN TRINBAGO is the WORLD GOVERNING BODY of PAN. In my books one of the first things the NEW PRESIDENT of PAN TRINBAGO should have done is to REACH OUT to WHEN STEEL TALKS to try to TAP INTO their DATABASE which they spent years establishing.(I am talking about NEGOTIATIONS and DOLLARS!!!)
Now I know that BEVERLEY cannot see how that first step integrates into THE PANORAMA discussion (the relevance of it) -- but somebody in her circle must have a little global and marketing vision. (Somebody tell me that MARCUS ASH is ah REAL BUSINESS GENIUS -- so perhaps he should be talking to ODW and BUGS ... the two people I elect to represent THIS FORUM with INPUT on this current HOT TOPIC!!!)
And because of this shortsightedness and local arrogance -- BERTEL GITTENS have to spend the whole day running around chat sites trying to tell everybody that they are wrong in their views on this PANORAMA CHANGE.
What is contradictory to me is that the 180 bands (by two delegates); the 360 delegates all attended meetings and fully agreed with this NEW CHANGE -- but when the plan hit THE INTERNET the DISSENT was deafening. So I could only conclude that DEM STEELBANDS and their hand-chosen delegates are in cahoots with the EXPLOITATION of the 6000 PAN PLAYERS who have ZERO voice -- except on THE INTERNET.
Anyway, it eh too late for PAN TRINBAGO to send an OFFICIAL MEMBER to explain this whole new PANORAMA arrangement to the 50,000 PAN LOVERS who are plugged in to numerous websites around the world. These are the same people who are likely to buy the PAY PER VIEW feed of this EXTENDED PANORAMA SEASON.
