Every time ah read anything about PAN the authors always have to tell me about AFRICA being the ROOTS OF PAN. Now I am a TRINIDADIAN, eh. So I have a little different view on that.
But ah know that BEVERLEY and TOBAGO heavy into the AFRICA TING. So I cannot understand why BEVERLEY RAMSEY-MOORE (who has now risen to the POWERFUL POSITION of PRESIDENT OF THE WORLD GOVERNING BODY) will take a STIFF POSITION with this LIVE and DIRECT African connection to PAN.
I cannot believe that BEVERLEY RAMSEY-MOORE is so caught up with the PANORAMA TING and the TOBAGO MEDIUM BAND TING and the MY BAND ABOVE ALL TING that she cannot lift her head and see that GLOBAL PAN could make a major contribution to TRINIDAD PAN. And that she should miss NO OPPORTUNITY to try to reach out to PAN ENTHUSIASTS where ever they may be in the WORLD -- regardless of colour, creed or race.
So I am hoping that she gives Mr. Bowei a call and makes some kind of attempt to set up some linkage between PAN AFRICA and PAN TRINIDAD. Or at least put a QUALIFIED ERO in place so that these GLOBAL CONVERSATIONS about PAN could begin ASAP!!!
