Birdsong had a show of solidarity on Sunday with Prof Clement Imbert, Movement for Social Justice (MSJ) leader David Abdulah, former Tunapuna MP Eddie Hart, Pan Trinbago president Keith Diaz, former vice president of Pan Trinbago Brian Serrette and the Artistic director of Birdsong Academy Mr. Richard Quarless -- all in attendance to try to save the band from imminent eviction. TUCO President Lutalo Masimba (a former graduate of the Birdsong Academy) and two young pannists Sachelle Thomas and Nathan Sheppard also joined in the appeal to the national community to assist them.
My real issue here is that if all these local luminaries (Lord ah calling Keith Diaz ah local luminary -- ah go get hang for that) who spent their entire lives living in Trinidad and promoting the PAN in the Mecca in the hot sun and thunderous tropical rain ... how the hell are EXPATS going to sit on their computers thousands of miles away and really expect to put up three sentences on a forum and expect the WORLD TO CHANGE just because they put up a post?

Claude if Trinidad and Tobago is concerned about its recent global image, then it is a no-brainier. The appropriate steps will be taken. However, when you look at the list of unfortunate events and flubs from the beginning of 2016 - Asami's unsolved murder to the panist not being paid for Panorama to Pan Trinbago;s total lack of credibility - the writing is on the wall.
