"For 2019, the International Monetary Fund is projecting zero percent growth for the nation [TRINIDAD & TOBAGO], which has been in the petroleum industry for over 100 years.
A2 Global Risk, an international security risk management consultancy also spoke of the declining health of the Trinidadian economy in one of its latest assessments. The firm noted that T&T’s oil production has dropped by 14.5 percent since 2012. As a result, the CARICOM member is left with little alternative but to restructure its economy away from oil and gas.
Global Risk alluded to the difficulties that may come with this restructuring since T&T has neglected its other sectors for decades while noting that a potentially disastrous impact for the national economy looms. As a result of its negligence, Global Risk said that T&T’s growth outside of oil has been low, and sometimes negative."
Now for years THE PNM has been promising DIVERSIFICATION OF THE ECONOMY with emphasis on THE ARTS. And the current president of PAN TRINBAGO has promised PROSPERITY in PAN. But all the PROSPERITY in PAN money is still coming from the BROKE GOVERNMENT.
So I am hoping that THE BEV could help turn the economy around starting with THE MEDIUM BANDS FINALS in TOBAGO -- which promises to bring in over TEN MILLIONS (USD). And then we have ALL THESE PANORAMAS which will be broadcast to the world on PAY PER VIEW -- where we are expecting THE REAL BIG SCORE that could make PAN TRINBAGO FINANCIALLY INDEPENDENT and not have to go back to the THE PNM for 2021 PANORAMA to BEG FOR MORE MONEY!!!
(Good chance that GYPSY might be the MINISTER OF CULTURE at that time, again. That is REAL FUNNY!!!)
Somebody facetiously asked me if I knew where the $14,000,000 in prizes for the 2019 is coming from. Of course I know where it is coming from (I eh come to Trinidad on NO BOAT); since 1963 I know that it has been coming from THAT GOVERNMENT.
KEITH DIAZ promised that PAN WILL MAKE MORE MONEY THAN OIL under his administration. And now BEVERLEY promising that the TOBAGO PANORAMA will MAKE MORE MONEY THAN OIL.
Well, Beverley might be right because OIL EH MAKING NO MONEY (they loss so much they had to CLOSE DOWN THE REFINERY) -- so it will not take too much of a PAN TRINBAGO PROFIT to OUT EARN OIL.
(Gregory Lindsay: Ah still want to know where the SIXTY MILLION DOLLARS that DIAZ and FORTEAU loss -- gone. Do you know that they have a FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT IN TRINIDAD -- just fill out the form and you will see where the SIXTY MILLION went so everybody could see!!!)
But in fairness to the CULTURALLY STARVED EXPATS -- I think that WACK and BEVERLEY should concentrate on producing a QUALITY LIVESTREAM for the money that they are going to be CHARGING THESE EXPATS on at least 4 different PANORAMA PRODUCTS in the next 5 MONTHS.
And they should be TRANSPARENT enough this year to show THE GOVERNMENT and THE PUBLIC the FULL AMOUNT OF THE PROCEEDS from the PANORAMA BROADCASTS -- not THE BACK OF THE CHEQUE like last year.
This report is BAD NEWS because it just means that THE CRIME will only GET WORSE. So the pressure for a CIVILIZED SOCIETY now rests squarely on THE SHOULDERS of PAN TRINBAGO -- how the WORLD TURNS as GUYANA now has ALL THE OIL and we have to DEPEND ON BEVERLEY AND THE PAN ... to FUND THE NATIONAL BUDGET!!!
