Port of Spain, Nov 8 (Prensa Latina) The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) today highlighted the UNESCO designation of this capital as a Creative City of Music.

In its newspaper CARICOM Today, the sub-regional bloc highlights that the Mayor of Port-of-Spain, Joel Martinez, announced the decision of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), stressing that the four-year action plan of the capital of Trinidad and Tobago has been in line with the mission of UNESCO's Creative Cities Network.

'If we want to progress as a people and a country, our capital cannot remain the same,' Martinez said
