The other six finalists—Starlift, Couva Joylanders, Courts Sound Specialists of Laventille, Redemption Sound Setters, Renegades, and Exodus—each received $20,000. Held at Queen’s Hall, St Ann’s, on Friday, the Codrington Pan Family edged out former Panorama champs Exodus and Renegades, who placed third and second, respectively, in the finals.
....Playing Austin Lyons’ Ethel and Andre Tanker’s Forward Home, arranged by Keisha and Khari Codrington, the eight-member band got a standing ovation from the small crowd for playing a variety of conventional instruments.

Thank you 'Steelpan Edc'. We were persecuted by many during those days on Frederick Street but look where it has lead us. Thanks for the well wishes and we wish all the best to you as well.

Special Thanks to the Rhapsody Next Generation Family. You guys contributed to our victory by allowing us to borrow two of your clip on microphones. It was greatly appreciated.
Codrington Family.
Congratulations to The Codrington Pan Family on their victory at the Jazz Challenge. It seems that any Codrington Victory is history making. In 2004, Ms. Keisha Codrington became the youngest pannist to win the Soloist Category at Pan Is Beautiful. Keisha was all but TEN. They also won the Quartet Gategory, which was another milestone, since all the pannists were related. And now winning the first ever Jazz Challenge Competition. KUDOS! KUDOS! KUDOS!
Thank you Ian. It warms out heart that you see it this way. We hope for the day where we can be recognized worldwide and be an inspiration to families throughout the world. Thank you for your support.
