Commancheros pan players perform at the 2022 Grenada Panorama competitionGrenada, W.I. - Co-op Bank Commancheros Steel Band Orchestra has emerged victorious over the defending champions New Dimension Steel Orchestra in the 2022 Panorama competition to earn their 7th Panorama championship title.
The St Paul’s-based band won the competition in 1994, 2006, 2007, 2014, 2016, 2018, and now in 2022, on 272 points, with its performance of Andre Greenidge’s arrangement of “10, 000 masqueraders” by Miney, a song, that captured the road march title in 2008.
