  • I wish to join with Hells Gate family, which I consider myself a part of as a result of my long association with, in expressing my sympathy at the passing of ashley. Someone whom I have known personally, and someone who was closely connected to my brother Cecil 'Spoiler Phillip , former Captain and builder who was Instrumental in Ashley's familiarity with the pan. May his soul rest in peace.

  • Ancestors.

  • Dear Hells Gate of Antigua and Ashley George family, condolence to you all. I studied the Hells Gate Steel Orchestra for many years and other than Eustace Manning and Stafford, two former captains of Hells Gate, Ashley was the face of Hells Gate steel Orchestra for many years. Ashley loved pan dearly and he was a very skillful bass player.
