  • My father was a great man, the most loving and selfless person I ever met.  Family and pan were his loves,  so we had to send him off with the the music of his heart in style.  He was a Branches ( Boston ) and Pan Vibes ( Trinidad) member.  If anyone had the pleasure of knowing him, they were blessed.

  • Funeral Arrangements for our dear friend and band mate from Branches Pan Groove Steelband

    Mr. Harold "Harry" Skair:

Wake: Buonfiglio Funeral Home 128 Revere Street, Revere, MA. 4pm-7pm on Friday, January 2, 2014

Funeral at St. Anthony's Church: 250 Revere Street, Revere, MA 10am-12 noon. Saturday, January 3, 2014

  • The last time that I spoke to Mr. Harry was on Sunday, December 7th, 2014 when Carl asked me to play a few songs on Tenor with the band. Harry was playing right next to me and we both joked about not remembering the songs.... lol Harry was a good man. I often enjoyed our conversations about the pan. He would always call me and ask me what I thought about a particular band or arrangement. Back in the day when I use to arrange the panorama songs for Branches, Harry would often ask me, "weh yuh goin next meh boi?" Meaning what's the next part in the arrangement. I was always happy to give him advice on arranging and he was very humble and thankful to receive it. Never complaining and never arguing. He was always grateful and I will always remember him like that. Rest in peace my Brother and Friend until I join you in that band up above.

  • Harold "Harry" Skair former member of Pan Vybes of Belmont passed away last Saturday in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. His brother is "Mico" Skair an arranger. His funeral will take place on Saturday in Massachusetts.

  • Condolences to the extended Skair family,Boston Branches Steel Orchestra family, Pan Vibes (T&T) family. Harry was the ultimate panman, a walking encyclopedia on pan history, he will be missed. "Jackie" & "Mico" another tenor playing on high.
