Congratulations goes out to one of our members "Sweet and Sour" for the selection of the first 5 in exact order in the large band category of Panorama 2014. I can't remember anyone doing this before, this is remarkable. Check with Mr Cecil Hinkson for your Prize, Congrats again.

  • Thanks. The shout out is much appreciated.

  • Ian, I am quite educated in the panorama affair but I have to admit I misunderstood your statement. I apologize, you are correct, 1 of the fabulous five really made it to the top three from 1982 - 2014.

    • Thanks Rodney,

Glad that we can solve things amicable (lol)  Please advise if you have any copy of my 3 new pan books. "Panorama Finals 1963 to present" "Desperadoes Rudolph Charles Era and beyond and "Winners of Pan 1952 to present" You can reply via e mail; laventl@aol.com

      Love peace and pan

      • Solve things Amicable, I like that Ian,

        • Yes Bede,

If we try that approach, it can be a start at getting back our beautiful T&T (lol)

"Meh free paper done; meh wife war me back up day" (lol)

I am scheduled to leave T&T for Florida on the 18th.

Thanks again and I will have to look for that "Hold on to your man" I promised you eons ago (lol)

          • Ian, You better get back up to the Wife before Bradley come back and haunt you with ah Horn, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-pyeXW3N9Os Desperadoes, you lookin for Horn

            • Very funny Bede (lol) As a matter of fact my wife and I were both on the Savannah stage in 2001 for that Despers "HORN" because panorama was not televised in 2001 (lol)

              • Ian, That's Great, at least both of you know what Horn is, well you don't have to Rush back everything is OK, lol

          • Yea Ian, Ah still waiting for "Hold on to your man" by West side, and see if you can find "Little drummer boy" also by West side

  • I am wondering whether people recognise that the pan competitions unlike all the other competitions have had a consistently high standard and is therefore extremely important to the Carnival celebrations. Unfortunately come Monday and Tuesday on the Road it is not given the due respect
