Congratulations to Sonatas Steel Orchestra on your 45th anniversary. These are some of their accomplishments
(1) oldest band in NY
(2) were once sponsored by BWIA
(3) except for 2000 & 2001, performed at all panoramas at the Brooklyn Meseum
(4) first to win back to back
(5) first to hat-trick
(6) first to win 4 panoramas
(7) first to win 5 panoramas
(8) were always in the top-three in the 1980's
(9) only band to place in the top-three in the 1990's, 2000's and 2010's
(10) only band to place in the top-three 26 times out of the last 34 finals
(11) has placed the most 3rds with 9
(12) has placed the most 2nds with 7
(13) SONATAS HAS THE MOST PANORAMA WINS IN THE UNITED STATES with 10
