This is as good a time as any to remind Pan Trinbago that the steelband is more than panorama. We all know the STEELPAN is on a solid path, it is time the devote all energies to the STEELBAND in the MECCA. It is NOT a stage side on steroids.
Yes sir... we really have to give them that. It was a fantastic job. Everything was well planned, went smoothly and was on time for a change.For me, the biggest disappointment was Phase II, Renegades and Exodus. It was like bringing a knife to a gun fight. The most surprising, Starlift, Brooklyn and Japan.The outcome, I'd like to see all bands have no more than 70 players in future Panoramas, also the system of chosing positions from the block of 6 will not work. Fix it now. If that's the way it's going to be, put up each bands score on the screen as soon as they finish playing. Congratulations to All Stars too !
Jerry Bain, that's ah very good idea, put up the Scores as soon as the Judges finish with each on the screen so they will not change/readajust the scores as they go,
Bede, I once made that suggestion and was told that it could cause violent behavior if supporters don't like how the judges mark their band, it's a safety issue.
