We sat down with Dane Gulston on Thursday to talk about his protest against Pan Trinbago, with the intentions of getting a deeper understanding of the issues that incited the protest and what change is being pushed for, either from Pan Trinbago or a potential replacement. We hoped to discuss, in detail, plans for the future of the steelpan mecca after a successful usurping of the passively oppressive organization. However, unsurprisingly, it mostly boils down to money and, derivatively, respect.
